Re-roof with solar panel reinstallation.

A St George terrace with existing solar panels needed a full re-roof. We isolated and removed the panels, stripped and rebuilt the roof, renewed all lead work, and refitted the solar array on the new tiles.

The brief

Keep the solar, replace the roof underneath.

The client had a working solar array on a tired roof. Rather than pay to have the panels removed by one trade and refitted by another, Albion handled the full job: electrical isolation, panel removal, roof strip-and-rebuild, new lead work, and panel reinstallation on the new tiles.

Because the panels were coming off anyway, we took the chance to upgrade the lead work and add a small new flat roof to the front elevation, all under one scaffold visit.

Covered by the CORC 10-year Insurance-Backed Guarantee.
